As a parent, you have a window of time to get your kids interested in a wide variety of things. Once they reach a certain age it becomes increasingly difficult to convince them they should not watch television all day, play on the computer all the time,
and play video games. This does not mean that these things are bad, but it is a good idea to involve your children in a wide variety of activities. It will allow their creativity to grow and flourish in May exercise the skills they have with them for life.
A clever parent May never short of ideas, but just in case you have difficulty deciding what to do, here are two ideas. Sculpting can be a means to awaken the creativity of your child and is a process that can be exceeded for at least a couple of weeks. For this project, you do not need to spend some money, you can make a clay sculpture from ingredients in your kitchen. Take two cups of flour, half a cup of salt and a ¼ cup of coffee. Mix until the clay has a consistency. If you cover and store it, you can keep the clay for several weeks. The clay you can mold into different figures and shapes. If this mixture is difficult to you can add a little water to soften the mixture. Once you've molded the forms that you can dry in a couple of ways. In a skillet set at 200 for about 1 hour and a half, it will harden up and turn into a soft shelled figure. If you let it dry at room temperature, it will be almost dry with a stone look in a delay of about 3 to 4 days. Once it is completely dry you can sand it, cover it with a sealant, such as shellac, then paint. This project is very clever and good for children to see their lives to the imagination.
