If your ceiling is showing its age and wear, May you think that not only you can do, especially if the ceiling is an old ceiling stucco or plaster. But do not despair. Ceiling plaster or stucco: These beautiful vintage ceilings were incredibly tough. Many have complex plaster rosettes or fruit in the plaster cast models. Repair is not easy, but if the ceiling has left everything in life, a plaster ceiling, in particular the decoration are a joy to preserve it. They add value for their historical value and time as well. Essentially what you need to do is mix a batch of plaster of Paris and joint compound. It must be very thick soft play-dough. If your ceiling is stucco, you'll need to add a little sand or purchase stucco filling. With a small putty knife or kitchen knife, carefully fill cracks and holes in plaster, to adapt it to shape the missing pieces. You can add a little white glue to the mix if it does not stick properly.
